t's summer, let's get outside together! This is a level, leisurely walk to the Sandy River on a nice wide path so we can chat amongst ourselves.

Thousand Acres is also referred to colloquially a Dog Heaven so please do bring your well-behaved pups to play! If you plan on bringing kids just know dogs will be wildin.

Please bring water for yourself and dogs! You are responsible for your own sunscreen and safety.

Parking is $5 in the lot and supports our lovely regional parks.

Delicious Sugar Pine Drive-In nearby is a great spot for lunch afterward.
