We got 2 lunch time events this month - to help break up the screen time of the workday. Reach out to Ana if you have questions about going to the 🌇downtown meet up 🏙️ Reach out to Omar if you have questions about going to the 🏭SE meet up🏘️ Last year was our pilot year and downtown meet ups had a lot of success so we’re excited to get the folks at eastside firms an option to meet up as well. Come late / leave early whatever works with your busy schedule to meet a range of other local minorities in the industry near you!

Karaoke night is back. Join us at Bar Cala for a laid-back evening of singing, cheering, creativity, and community. Whether you grab the mic or just enjoy the energy, the night is about showing up and supporting each other. We’ll have the plant-filled space reserved for NOMA members until 8 PM, then it opens to the public. Where Are My People: For the Gals A Galentine’s-style paper craft evening hosted @ Albina Vision Trust!! 💌 Where Are My People is all about making room to connect, be comfortable, and meet others who just get it-especially folks who don’t always see themselves reflected in design spaces. In honor of Valentine’s Day approaching, this paper craft night celebrates women, gender-expansive designers and creatives through learning by making. Through hands-on paper crafts, we’ll explore material play, storytelling, and personal expression -no pressure, no expectations just good energy and conversations ✨ We’ll have paper craft supplies available, but you’re also welcome to bring your own project or something you’ve been working on if that feels better to you. The new 14-story inpatient tower will enhance access to cancer care and support groundbreaking research supported by the Knight Cancer Institute. Join us to learn how this facility will advance cancer care for our community. ❄️ Winter Social & Community Giving Night! Tuesday, December 16th, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. SEE COMMUNITY DISCORD CHANNEL OR CALENDAR INVITE FOR LOCATION. _ Join us as we come together to celebrate another meaningful year of connection, impact, and shared purpose! Our second annual Winter Social serves as a chance for members to relax, socialize, and enjoy an evening of warmth and community as we look back on all we’ve accomplished together. This year our Winter Social will double as a toy drive to spread joy and make the holidays brighter for families in need. TOY DRIVE! 🎁🧸🪀 The toys collected will be donated to Centro Cultural for their Annual Toy Drive, benefitting children and families experiencing disruption due to federal immigration practices. How to support: Bring a new, unwrapped toy for kids ages 2-10 years old to the Winter Social on December 16th. Toys are left unwrapped so families can celebrate the holidays in a way that honors their traditions. Let’s close out the year with compassion, community, and celebration.
